How to Add or Remove a Caregiver for an Adult Patient

After both patient and caregiver applications have been approved by the MCA, the patient can add or remove caregivers using Maryland OneStop.

How to add a caregiver

1. Navigate to onestop.md.gov and select "Log in."
2. Select "My Dashboard." 
3. Under "My Licenses, Permits, and Registrations" click on your MCA registration ID number 
4. From the License Information page, click on the green "Actions" button (top right), then click on Add Caregivers 
5. Under the Search Registered Caregivers Tab, enter the Caregiver MCA ID number .
6. The caregiver number will populate automatically. Click the green "Submit" button.
7. Caregiver will automatically be added and can visit the dispensary to make purchases for the Patient 

How to remove a caregiver

1. Navigate to onestop.md.gov and select "Log in".
2. Select "My Dashboard."
3. Under "My Licenses, Permits, and Registrations" click on your MCA registration ID number 
4. From the License Information page, click on the Caregiver tab.
5. Under Related Caregivers, click on the green "Remove" button. A question will pop up: “Are you Sure?” 
6. Click on the green button, "Delete Record."
7. The caregiver will automatically be removed.
